Special Education Services

Special Education Services

The overall goal of Special Education is to meet the unique needs of each child while continually working on fostering academic growth, social development, and increased independence.  Students receiving Special Education Services in District 303 can receive support in a variety of settings ranging from small, intensive self-contained classes to general education classes. In addition to being part of an academic team, students receive support and monitoring through a case manager and possibly through additional support services personnel such as the social worker, speech/language pathologist, and occupational/physical therapists.
