  • WebPath Express--A great search engine built-in to the Wredling Card Catalog. Sites are selected by school librarians specifically for student research purposes.
    To access WebPath Express:
    1) navigate to the Wredling Card Catalog
    2) click on the WebPath Express link on the left hand side
    3) type in a keyword or key phrase
    4) click the Search button
    5) Voila! Reliable websites at your fingertips!

  • Altapedia--contains full color physical and political maps as well as key facts and statistics on countries of the world
  • Career Cruising--an online database all about careers!
  • Country Reports-- a great source about the cultural, historical, and statistical information about world countries.
  • Easy Bib - The Free Automatic Bibliography and Citation Maker----Cite your sources using this!!!  You can then either share or export your final citations. Exporting choices include saving to your Google Drive as a document.  Sign in to Easybib by clicking on the Sign In Using Google button.
  • Fact Monster –- Try it!
  • Facts.com--an online multi-reference resource
  • How Products Are Made--explains and details the manufacturing process of and ingredients/components needed in the production of a wide variety of products, from daily household items to complicated electronic equipment and heavy machinery. The search engine built into this database will take you out to a Google results list; therefore, it is very important that you pull information from the websites which URLs contain www.madehow.com.
  • How Stuff Works--A searchable and browsable website which provides the basic necessary components and the process behind hundreds of electronics, appliances, theories, scientific concepts, household items, varied cultures, money, sports, various entertainment mediums, transportation, technologies and philosophies.
  • InfoTrac Web--an online periodical database with daily updates. SIgn in Using Google. The Citation Tools link at the right side of each article will allow you to Save to Google Drive or use Easybib.
  • Middle Search Plus--provides full text for 140 popular magazines for middle and jr. high school research. Has an extensive gallery of photographs of people (even celebrities), places and things, which are free, legal and safe for students and staff to use for school projects.
  • MorgueFile.com--This site contains free high resolution digital stock photography for either corporate or public use.
  • Primary Search--provides full text for nearly 70 popular, magazines for elementary school research and contains Lexile reading levels. Has an extensive gallery of photographs of people (even celebrities), places and things, which are free, legal and safe for students and staff to use for school projects.
  • Sheppard’s Country Software-Geography--great for information from The 13 Colonies to World Culture
