· 8th grade graduation picture re-take day is Tuesday, April 13. If you need a picture re-taken, please bring your picture packet to school on April 13th & turn it in to the Lifetouch photographer. If you did not have a graduation picture taken, you may have your picture taken at that time.
· The 7th grade girls A team were lead to victory by the outstanding defensive effort of Mikaela Mosquera, Laura Olney, and Megan Schildmeyer in their 20 to 15 win over Wheaton Hubble. Keara Washington led the scoring with 8 points, while Katie Clausner scored 3 points. It was a balanced team effort in the victory, making the girls record a strong 14 and 1. Great effort team!
· The 8th grade A team overcame a sluggish start last night to defeat Hubble 33-24. The team put on the defense pressure in the second half causing several steals that led to fast break lay-ups. Amanda Hiton and Jordan Shead led the team in scoring.
· The 8th grade B team rolled to another victory defeating Hubble 31-19. Balanced scoring and get defensive play was the key to victory. Jessica Riley and Claire Davis paced the scoring with 8 points each. Alexa Huskisson and Keyana Williams added 6 points each. Carly Huskisson added 2 and Shannon Healy 1 point. The girls close out the regular season next week with home games on Monday vs. Franklin and Thursday vs. cross town rival Haines.
· Last night the 7th grade B team came from 10 points down to defeat Wheaton Hubble by a score of 18 to 13. Elise Odell led the Redhawks in scoring with 6 points. Darcy Cunningham, and Maryn Cheney each scored 4 points, while Breanna Miller and Seirra Schaeffer scored 2 points in the win. Nice comeback ladies.
· The Game Club meeting for today is cancelled.
· Attention Boys: Registration for 2010 STC Boys Baseball season remains open until March 20th so you still have time to sign up if interested. Go to our website at www.eteamz.com/stcboysbaseball/ to begin this process.
· March Madness is coming! Selection Sunday is March 14, 2010, then 65 college teams vie for the National Championship. Would you like to get involved in a March Madness activity? It is free, fun, and held after school in the cafeteria from 3:30-4:15. We will meet and make posters, talk basketball, and fill in brackets! The dates we will be meeting are: March 18, 22, 23, and 25th. See Mrs. Fehrenbacher if you have questions and show up for a great time!
· The Share and Care club will be meeting today, Friday, March 12th, from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. in Room 143. Snacks will be provided. Hope to see you!
· Any 7th grade boys or girls interested in going out for the track team should attend a brief informational meeting next Wednesday, March 17th at 8:05 in the main gym.
· Any 8th grade boys or girls interested in going out for the track team should attend a brief informational meeting next Thursday, March 18th at 8:05 in the main gym. Any 7th or 8th grade boy or girl that wants to go out for track must have a current physical, insurance waiver and co-curricular on file in the main office. If you are not sure, please see Mrs. Akers in the main office.
· Lollipops are back but not for long! They are 75 cents apiece, and will probably be all gone by Spring Break. Make sure to stock up now!

· Students, please remind your parents to fill out the PTO Plant Sale order forms that you brought home. They can also place their order from Wredling’s website. The orders are due back to school next Friday, March 19. Remember, the POD with the most orders wins and ice cream treat!!
· Seventh and eighth graders who were former 6-2 students, we need your help. It is time for our Expert Project to begin and we need sample question and answer books to show our students. If you are willing to share your book, please bring to Mr. Patrick or Mrs. Robinson.
